Meet Shane Young
Shane Young, 32, from Killary Harbour, spent 22 days kayaking and hiking through the Chiribiquete National Park in southern Colombia, which covers an area the size of Belgium.
Shane became the first Irishman to reach 10,000 year old rock paintings in the Colombian jungle surviving fist-sized spiders, jaguar encounters and crippling hunger.
I'm delighted to announce that Shane will be talking at this years festival about his recent adventures in the Amazon. The Times wrote about it - Explorer survives jaguars, piranhas and jungle to reach ancient Rock art.
WHEN: SUNDAY 25TH FEB @ 2:30PM
WHERE: W CINEMA, WESTPORT, CO. MAYO

A Weekend Pass and Sunday Pass include access to Shane's talk.
